What Happened When I Bought Your Cats A Self Cleaning Litterbox

I hate cleaning the cat box. After we got the cat my kid declared that he would take care of your kitty and scoop the cat litter box. However, you know how that goes. He never did end up taking care of this cat. I cared for their cat. After which he came home with the other cat. I then had been taking care of 2 cats. Finally after the cat came together I decided I would splurge on a few of the self-cleaning litterboxes therefore I wouldn't have to scoop cat poles anymore. Well I spent $200 on the very high quality of the line self-cleaning cat litterbox because of the cats and this is what occurred:

Litterbox

When I brought the box home and place up it I left the litterboxes that the direction they were in case the cats didn't desire to utilize the new litter box because I did not need them going on the ground. One cat carefully entered the self-cleaning litterbox through the top entry. The litterbox started clean up after him while he was still going. He had been panicked by the noise that the cleaning mechanism made despite the fact that it said it had been a silent mechanism. He jumped out of the box, still pooping, and ran down the whole upstairs hall trailing poop. I had been convinced that I only had wasted $200 and made more work for myself.

After I spend a hour cleaning up the hall way and then massaging the carpets I visited check the litterbox again. Cat number two jumped in the box and used it. Once again the noise started however, this kitty was not amazed by the sounds. Cat number-two sauntered outside of the box without a care in the world and the box clicked to life and raked through the box cleaning it out.

Over the next two days I kept a close watch on all the boxes. I never saw cat number three use the self cleaning box. Not once. Cat number two took to it right away and has used it with no problems ever since. Cat number one some times uses it but still favors the normal boxes using routine scooping litter. So I spent $200 to get an extra clutter box which only one cat uses and I still have to scoop out litter boxes every day.

Less Expensive

In the end I think that pets, such as children, are not predictable and their experiences and personalities could ascertain if they like the things they are likely to enjoy or maybe not. I really don't know why only one of my cats uses the self cleaning box that I paid plenty of money for. But hopefully the other two will figure out how to make use of it . I won't get rid of it because I am stubborn and I am not likely to throw off that kind of money. However, if I needed it to do over again I definitely would have purchased a less expensive self cleaning box or merely stuck for the typical boxes with regular clumping litter.
